1 March 2008 - Hello friends! This winter was long and cold, with a lot of snow! That means we'll have a great rafting season with awesome 3-4 class rapids. Spring is just a few weeks away and the steelhead have started their run up river. We are taking reservations and starting to fill up for the spring fishing season.
*After careful consideration and an extensive survey of our quests we have decided to stop serving a full hot breakfast. Most of our guests prefer a quick continental style breakfast so they can get up and go and do what they came to do, fish for steelhead, raft the awesome rapids, and hike through our wilderness. We will provide milk, coffee, tea, juice, cereal, breads and rolls for our guests to enjoy. Of course our guest house has a full kitchen and everything you need to cook meals. Many guest bring their own food and cook great meals. You will still enjoy our friendly hospitality and our comfortable lodging and family atmosphere.

Welcome to the Salmon River Bed & Breakfast. We are located on the main Salmon River, in the heart of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, in Central Idaho.
If you never experienced the comfort and hospitality of a vacation at the Salmon River Bed & Breakfast you are in for a real treat! Nestled in the Salmon River Canyon, north of Salmon, Idaho, we offer a home away from home atmosphere at affordable rates, well appointed rooms, and a great home made breakfast.
All our rooms open to a great view of the Salmon River or the beautiful, rugged mountains of the Frank Church Wilderness. The warmer months bring beautiful changes to our river canyon: Carpets of wildflowers, animal sightings, white water rafting, fast running streams and natural hot springs, all within hiking distance or a short drive from the bed & breakfast. Fall & Winter months offer adventures in big game hunting, steelhead fishing, skiing, hiking, and camping.
Our Guesthouse features 3 comfortable rooms, a kitchen, dining room, living room, and laundry room. It sleeps 8-10 and has a covered wraparound porch, perfect for relaxing and watching the beautiful mountain sunsets. Rooms may be booked individually for that romantic get-a-way or you may book the entire guesthouse for your special event.
A wonderful place to stay with family and friends as you enjoy your wilderness adventures on the Salmon River. We work with several Outfitters in the area and can help you plan hunting, fishing, horseback riding on the Lewis & Clark Trail, and white water rafting trips. We cater to Families, Hunters, Fisherman, and Rafters for vacations, weekend get-a-ways, business and youth retreats and family reunions.
